USC - Application Status

I get this message when I log onto the USC portal:

Undergraduate Application (Part II, Fall 2011)
We have received your application, and it appears we require no additional information at this time. We will be reviewing applications through the month of March, and we expect to be able to meet our commitment to notify freshmen by April 1st. We often like to see the mid-year grades of freshman applicants. If you have not already done so, please submit your final, fall term marks when they become available. You may submit them at USConnect by clicking "mid-year grade reports", or by visiting www.usc.edu/midyeargrades. Sometimes, in the course of our review of applications, we find that we need additional information. In such cases we will mail a written request. If you receive a request for more information, please respond promptly.

I am confused because other students seem to have a message that asks directly for their mid-year grades, such as: "We have received your application and we would like to request your mid-year grades."

What does this mean?!??!

Thanks!

Ummm… YOU have a message that asks for your mid-year-grades:

Your status says that they have your application and that you should submit your mid-year grades when you get them. How is that confusing?

Yeah, I know, but it’s not as direct as the message other students are getting.

That is a very direct message.

It means you should submit your final, fall term marks when they become available.

Good luck.

Ha! I second that. Drive them over in a taxi if you have to.

I’ve been accepted with scholarship invitations and I’m still on the giant "we have received your app… " message!

Jasonvdm…you say “scholarship invitationS” Have you been given more than one?

I meant invitation* sorry
