Here is the latest app status, and it was changed from the previous one, which provided a link to the Application Checklist. Two questions

1) Does this mean USC has received everything they need?
2) When do we have to submit the midyear grades online?

"Application Status:

The University of Southern California is pleased to offer the ability of students to receive online messages regarding the status of their application. However, all decision notifications are made via postal mail.

Undergraduate Application (Part II, Fall 2010)
Your application is being reviewed by the admission committee. We will mail notification of their decision by April 1. If for some reason you don't receive our written notice, we will be happy to provide the results over the phone beginning April 11th.

Click here to submit mid-year grades online."

Are you able to click “Browse available forms in our document library” and see a list of documents they have received? (I am pulling this up from memory, so it is entirely possible the status site has changed - don’t worry if that link isn’t there.)

Oh - sorry - here is the application status site I was referring to: https://camel2.usc.edu/ESD/IOL/login.aspx log in with the username and password from your application.

alamemom,

The “Browse available forms in our document library” link is no longer available and we tried to login to the https://camel2.usc.edu/ESD/IOL/login.aspx and the user name and password we used for USC application do not work here.

We need to call USC to find out why…

Do you know when the midyear grades should be mailed?

Thanks!

The midyear grades can be submitted online, FAXed or mailed any time after you son gets them. If they are very good, send them right away. If they are less than stellar, wait until after the scholarship acceptances are sent (approx the end of January). If he is accepted in that first wave, he will not need to submit the mid year grades.

I looked at your other post where you were able access your document list - it looked like everything was there except the recommendation. My guess is that the recommendation arrived and, as the message says, your son’s file is being reviewed. (YAY!) Your son is WAY ahead of all those posters who are planning to send their materials in “later.” Again, guessing, the link will probably reappear soon.

Good luck!!!
