I have started the USC application and I am not sure if I want to move onto part 2 yet to access the teacher letter of recommendations, etc. But, part 1 has my SAT/ACT test scores and I am still taking them to hopefully improve. Are you allowed to move back to the first part after submitting it? Thanks for any help.

I’m applying to USC also, Part 1 really dosen’t effect your chances of admissions and they dont give those scores any weight because they aren’t official…Part 1 is simiply to let them know Who you are, What you will be applying for, and What to expect…you can send completly different scores it dosen’t matter

jkaplan is exactly right.

In the past, you could submit part 1 without scores if you didn’t have them yet. Give that a try if you prefer not to submit your current scores. USC seems to really like applicants who really want to go to USC, so submitting Part 1 helps demonstrate your interest. It also saves you a few bucks on the application fee - go for it!

Oh - to answer your question: no, you won’t be able to make changes to Part 1 after you submit.

But you can still send the SAT scores after you submit part 1.

Yes you must send official scores, Part 1 does not suffice

I was wondering this as well. Do you think it would be better to submit my Part I application WITH my last known ACT score even though I just took it again and am awaiting that final score? Or could I just submit Part I without any scores?
