Hey everyone,

I was wondering if USC arch admission is based more on portfolio, more on stats, or pretty much equally?
Because even though architecture isn't visual arts, I know for a lot of art schools decisions are based mostly on your portfolio, given that you have decent grades

My grades are fine (B+ range), but they are not as high as USC's average which is 3.7/3.8 unweighted. That being said I have a very tough curriculum (IB Diploma Candidate) and attend a very competitive American school overseas in a developing country.
And in my opinion my portfolio (so far) is great.

So, I was wondering if students entering the arch program as a freshman also needed a GPA as high as 3.8.

Thanks in advance.
