<p>Hello, I really want to get into a good college, can you guys please review my stats, Thank you</p>

<p>GPA Unweighted : 3.50 (weak point)
Weighted : 4.1
Class rank : 31 out of 593 (top 5%)</p>

<p>SAT CR 750 + Math 740 =1490 Writing 700
I'll take two subject tests later this year
SAT Math level 2 (700+ prediction
SAT US History (700+ prediction</p>

<p>AP Test scores
APHG = 5
AP Spanish = 4
AP US GOV = 4
APUSH = 5
AP Psychology = 4
AP Micro economics = 5
AP Macro economics = 5
AP Biology = 4</p>

<p>volunteer hours = 300 Approx helping at a low income school in Bogota, Colombia. (my aunt works there)</p>

<p>work experience = does working in public for the summer count?</p>

<p>Awards = AP Scholar with Distinction</p>

<p>Hooks = Hispanic/ first generation</p>

<p>For UMich, your GPA is indeed your weakness link. Your course rigorous helps though. What would be your intended major? Where is your home state?</p>

<p>I think you could get into all 3. Since its OOS/Private Schools you should look into scholarship programs- those schools are all pricey. apply as early as possible to USC so you can be in their pool for scholarships. I think that your great test scores outweigh your unweighted GPA. </p>

<p>For UMich LSA oos, it would be a low reach for you. Your uwGPA is very low in their standard (avg 3.85) although you have a lot of AP classes (or did you self study for some of them?). Your SAT is just slightly above average (mid 50 SAT 2030-2250. URM and first generation college student help your chance and may help your chance though. UMich is very expensive (~$55k/yr) and they do not meet need for oos. Your credential is also not competitive for merit aid.</p>

<p>Your GPA is very low for UMich and so personally I doubt you’ll get in :|.
USC is a low reach and BU is a high match. I’d be surprised if BU doesn’t at least wait list you.</p>

<p>Your GPA is low for Michigan, as their standards just keep getting higher and higher. But you still have time to get it up, and your other stats are great, so who knows! Don’t lose hope. Chance me back please?</p>

<p>Unfortunately, UMich puts more weight on GPA than other schools.</p>
