I know USC is a bit of a reach, but it is my top school, and my supplemental writings demonstrate that. I went through an adversity sophomore year (death in immediate family) which affected my grades, and I discussed that in my Common App essay.

My school has Cambridge AS and A Level courses, which I have taken 7 of (same weighting as AP)
Senior Year Course Load: AP Micro/Gov, AP Spanish, AP Euro, AP Lit, AP Comparative Politcs/ Philosophy Honors, Newspaper, College Algebra
Major Awards (USAMO, Intel etc.): Honorable Mention in Editorial Writing, Advanced International Certificate of Education with Merit from Cambridge University

Extracurriculars (place leadership in parentheses): NHS (2-year Treasurer, founded a Non-Profit Committee), Newspaper (Business and Advertising Manager, Copy Editor), Quill and Scroll (Vice President, former Treasurer), Rho Kappa, Mu Alpha Theta, Spanish Honor Society, I run a sports Twitter for my school’s newspaper as well

Sorry, you are going to need to improve your GPA SAT and ACT scores to be competitive
