<p>Does getting the financial aid packet mean anything??</p>
<p>I donāt think it implies anything. I do receive a letter (address to parent). It is basically a letter about FA info and a small booklet āinvesting in your futureā¦ā . I saw it before in the USC college information fair.</p>
<p>I doubt it really means anythingā¦ It could just be sent to people who applied by the scholarship deadline. In any case it would make me a little uneasy that some got it and some didnt but who knows</p>

<p>S applied on 12/1 and got the packet. A couple of people said that it is just for information and means nothing.</p>
<p>I applied before 12/1 for the Neuroscience major with pre-med emphasis.
I also received the financial aid packet and a Topping Scholarship email. Iām sure the financial aid packet does not mean anything, really. </p>

<p>I donāt think so. My D got Presidential scholarship a few years ago. </p>
<p>S got the packet this time so he is definitely not a first generation college student.</p>

<p>I guess Iām a bit different because I applied to USC through QuestBridge and thereās a certain,process that my app went through than the common app. I hope that explains why I didnāt receive the topping scholarship email and the financial aid packet. :-)</p>
