Everyone spazzzzz

Hey everyone! I just wanted to wish you all luck for admission results! I heard they were coming on the 27th.

I was lucky enough to get my acceptance back in January and based on what Iāve been reading, a lot of you have better scores than I do. I know thatās not all that they consider but it seems like you all have a good chance. Best of luck!!!

^ Congrats! :D

dude, em1995, believe me, youāre fine.

I wish I had been able to schedule an interviewā¦Iām absolutely terrified. If I donāt get in, Iām going to break down in my room crying.

And then Iāll do something. I donāt know what. Au pair in Italy or wait until I hear back from McGill :(

alsoā¦if my cumulative gpa was previously 3.4 UW but I got a 3.8 THIS semester, what would it be now? It doesnāt say on any of my files. And if I got a 1970 SAT and Iāve been doing comm service and a part time job since I was 12ā¦what do you guys think? (obv not enough informationā¦dont stress yourselves out trying to think this question over )

Itāll be a sad day when I open the mailbox and see a postcard from USC that just says:
āNo.ā

Really, my application is nothing special. I donāt expect to be admitted.

The only thing I think might mess me up is my performance on the SAT. At least, I have UCI and UCSB as back ups. :)

I heard that USC likes international students. I am from Australia now living in America, will this help my application?

Heh, Iām expecting the same, TheSolution. āDear Erin: Why did you even try? -Love, USCā

When was the financial aid deadline? I looked on the portal today and just saw the ānewā financial aid page. It said I had to add more information in addition to the FAFSA/CSS and all the other information they wanted a month ago.

According to @USCAdmissions, letters will be mailed next Tuesday, and decisions will be online for all next Friday.

has anyone uploaded anything under the ādocument libraryā tab of the āadmission documentsā section of USConnect?

I am so excited! I honestly canāt wait to just KNOW.

But I am wondering, what is their financial aid really like? I didnāt receive any of the scholarships they had sent out notification of a while back, and my EFC is $3600ishā¦but because of medical costs this year, my parents literally have NOTHING to contribute. Is USC nice with fin aid?

This all could be superfluous worry if I donāt get inā¦ ;)

Erinconomy, I just saw your post on the Chapman page about getting into Digital Arts with a scholarship! My daughter got into the same program with the same scholarship and she also thinks she has no chance of getting into USC. I am not giving up hope on either of you yet, but if you are both right, you will probably both have a great time at Chapman. I bet you are on that facebook list of people Chapman sends out of people who have things in common. Her name is Julie. Her art teacher is also a professor at Chapman and he has been wanting her to go there for years, but she also really liked USC. Are you going to the Admitted Students Day?

cardiacsurgeon,

If there has been a drastic change in the financial situation of your family since they filled out the financial aid forms, please notify the USC Financial Aid office immediately. Do include any new financial information in writing. They cannot help you, if they do not know about your recent problems.

I called the admissions office, because I go to a boarding school, so I donāt know if theyāll send the letter to my school or to my home address. But what the person on the phone said was that the decisions would be available online on the 26th too!

I really hope they will be available online on the 26th just because its my Easter Break from today, and I wonāt be either at my home or at the boarding school!

I asked the same thing cause I go to boarding school too. She said they will be online on the 29th though. But she still didnāt answer the question on where the package would be sent

It will be sent to the mailing address as you indicated on your application. Refer to your Common Application record if you cannot remember which address you entered as your mailing address.

I also go to boarding school. You can update the mailing address on the portal, however, I assume theyāve already addressed and prepared the decisions.

Iām excited and confused all at once! The decisions will now be available on the 26th???
