^^^ Thanks–D checked the mail and we wondered if it was yesterdays mail since we thought priority mail is usually 1 day from LA to OC–unless its 1st class #10 envelope then it may take a day longer :-/

Still waiting for mail… I’ll let you guys know if I get anything

@Seabasstian i’m so sorry just curious to know if your application status changed or stayed the same and has this message?

"You can track the status of your application here. Check back periodically to see any new information that is requested. Please be aware that all final admission decisions are sent via postal mail.

We have received your Common Application and USC Supplement, and it appears we require no additional information at this time. We will be reviewing applications through the month of March, and we expect to be able to meet our commitment to notify freshmen by April 1st. We often like to see the mid-year grades of freshman applicants. If you have not already done so, please submit your final, fall term marks when they become available. Submit a Mid Year Report school form, or click “Mid-Year Grades” in USConnect. Sometimes, in the course of our review of applications, we find that we need additional information. In such cases we will email a request. If you receive a request for more information, please respond promptly."

We are in the SF Bay Area and D did not receive anything in today’s mail.

Just a thought for those of you receiving error messages in your USC Connect portals - when I check D’s portal on a mac using safari, I get the error message. When using a PC and google chrome, it works fine… no changes, but it does read the notification ‘by April 1st’ date under the app status check page still…whatever that might mean.

Congrats to all who have been accepted! Condolences to those rejected but am sure you will thrive at whatever college you attend!

I live in the midwest so was not expecting anything in the mail today. My status was the same earlier but just changed in the last hour to the info below. I am still able to access both the financial aid tab that has “new” sign and the 2013-2014 Financial documents tab as well. I did apply in early November and I also noticed that the info on scholarship email moved to the message history and now there is nothing under current mail. Also, I did participate in the optional interview on campus.

The committee has acted on your application, and we have mailed notice of the decision. If for some reason you do not receive our written notice, we will be happy to provide the results of this online through USConnect March 29th at noon Pacific Time. "

hmm…okay Admission2013, what is the beginning of your last name. Mine is an S, maybe that is why mine has not changed. I’m thinking there is a correlation, but maybe there is not.

“M” but it could also be done by your application number, date of application, region… so may factors.

@pinkpinkluvr try logging out, clearing your cache, and logging back in and see if that helps.

In Los Angeles, South Bay. My son just received his acceptance to Marshall. It arrived via priority mail -big yellow envelope. Online portal financial page looks just the same as it ever did, ditto for the admissions page. All boxes exactly the same throughout. Good luck everyone still waiting.

Uh oh. Seems like the portal of everyone who got accepted is still the same as before while the people who got rejected had theirs changed. Mine updated a few hours ago. So scared now.

@sixpence what were your son’s stats? I was just wondering like GPA and SAT/ACT. If you already posted them, could you send me a link. Thanks

The results will not be posted online until the 29th, I am sure the portal is no indication of anything. Don’t panic yet.

@sixpence12 Congrats!! Did you actually click on the admission status tab that takes you to the page with the messages? Mine looks the same as far as which boxes are shown on the admissions page but it is when the admission status tab is clicked on the admissions page that the status has been shortened to the

Congrats again!

for anyone who has been accepted:
is your application status page the same?

for anyone who hasn’t been accepted:
is your application status page different?

but i agree with @sixpence12, the portal may not actually be an indication of anything

So far though, everyone that got accepted has no change, everyone who got rejected had the “we have acted on your application” thing. Bad news for me :(

@ xzyabc44 -I haven’t posted them because he is kind of private but GPA 3.65UW/4.6W, SAT 2220, 15 AP/hons, good EC"s but his hook was his amazing essays. Great writer.

^^^^No.
- What about those who got the error message under application status?
- My status recently went from the same (April 1 message) to the error message and I have not heard from them yet.

This means that whatever your application status is on USConnect should not indicate acceptance/rejection.

Well, no mail from USC in the IE!

BLEH! I’ll check tomorrow. Good luck and Congrats to all yall!

for those of you that got in, what exactly does your application status page say? I haven’t gotten mail yet but my page says:

"The committee has acted on your application, and we have mailed notice of the decision. If for some reason you do not receive our written notice, we will be happy to provide the results of this online through USConnect March 29th at noon Pacific Time. "

Daughter got a big yellow envelope! I cannot get in touch with her, I think her phone is dead. We are in Thousand Oaks, just north of Los Angeles. I can’t believe there are people in CA who have to wait till tomorrow. Good luck to you all!
