I still don’t have the option of Appeal Admissions Decision in my Document Library under the Admissions tab though. That could be a good sign…don’t know why’d you want to appeal your decision if you were accepted…?

@mbmanfull I had unknown/unknown…and only now did my status change…I’m really having no expectations right now.

Maybe they are updating them all - I just checked and it said ‘the system is experiencing delays’ please check back later or something like that.

Large gold package from USC in today’s mail! FA tab did have major listed before being taken down
Live in southern Orange Co

Earlier alamemom said that the status changes to “acted on” have been done in increments in past years, not all at once, so I would not conclude a late status change indicates a rejection. Also, even if your in SoCal and there’s nothing in the mail, I wouldn’t assume rejection. USPS can be unpredictable, so don’t assume the worst until you know for sure!

Also, @friedfishchen , I had my class/major listed, but I still haven’t received the “acted on” update. I don’t think those two things are related.

CONGRATULATIONS @ot2014 ! We are up to 5 acceptances in southern California today!

“The committee has acted on your application, and we have mailed notice of the decision. You can check back here on March 29th beginning at noon PDT for an electronic copy of your decision notification.”

“The committee has acted on your application, and we have mailed notice of the decision. You can check back here on March 29th beginning at noon PDT for an electronic copy of your decision notification.” THIS IS SO FRUSTRATING

anyone from Santa Clarita, Ca. get an acceptance???

anyone from norcal gotten an acceptance yet?

Did rejections get sent out as well?

hi, where is everyone seeing the status updates? in the admissions section or the financial aid section?
thanks!

A friend of mine had a rejection come in her mail so yes, rejections have been sent out as well (we live in the LA county area)

Has anyone been accepted yet that had an “unknown/unknown” posted?

@notmadeofmoney I am wondering about that as well.

Hello, i was wondering what everybody meant by “unknown/unknown”???

Unknown / Unknown was a status posted on Financial for a while but has since been taken down. Some had undergraduate/their first choice major others had second choice and others had undecided

my twins were accepted this am. Price and Viterbi, VERY excited. Good luck to all!

Looking at the pictures on their Facebook page, it looks as if the rejection comes in a plain manila legal size envelope, and the acceptance is in a thicker one with red and white stripes - can anyone who received confirm this?

Daughter got spring admit today. Thick yellow 10 x 14 envelope. It contains a beautiful maroon folder with info and a certificate of admission. Very nicely none. Any other spring admits?
