Just the financial aid catalog.
@chukrook I know how you feel, but I wouldn’t worry too much about it. I live in Virginia and I don’t get that much mail from colleges on the west coast, but that might have to do with geography.
Just applied!!

Is anyone else losing sleep over finding out where they’ve been accepted? (Especially USC :))
I’m in New York and so far (after the merit scholarship deadline) received a magazine, multiple fin aid packets, and 2-3 letters. I applied to Viterbi, though, so it may be different.
applied for Human Development and Aging for the 12/1 deadline
didn’t realize we’d get notifications this early for the merit deadline and I’m stressing a bit now haha…
@pterosprite Thanks! I live in Georgia, and I’ve been receiving a good bit of mail from other colleges. I’ve noticed that the colleges that I’ve been accepted to sent me tons of mail prior to my admittance, whereas the one I’ve been denied from did not. But I’m probably just paranoid!
@glasshours what were the letters about?
HeY EverybodY-
Post your stats and make the link more meaningful!!!
SAT scores…

Essays and recs…etc…

Nah, people will probably want to wait til they’ve heard back to post stats; no point in trying to compare ourselves now, the decisions are out of our hands
@Indijat if you really want to know people’s stats, I’m sure you could find them if you dug though their comments
But I agree with @pterosprite
@chukrook - Very generic content, like USC is a great school, blah blah blah. I wouldn’t worry too much about it – it’s definitely not a sign that they’re interested in me.
Does anyone know if we are supposed to submit our “mid-year grades” or is that something our counselor does since it was an option on the common application? Thanks in advance!
@liveylu202 our counselors do it after semester ends, but you should double check with your school
Has the merit stuff already come out?
No. In the past, the “official” hear back time has been early February. However, in the last few years, people generally received their mail late January.
Submitted my LGBTQ Lambda Alumni scholarship today If only I was able to write 1000 words for my common app too.
In everyone’s YouSC page, when you click the link “Check the status of your financial aid application” under the financial aid tab, does nothing come up or does a screen that says the correct documents haven’t been submitted yet (for the 2016-2017 year)?
@ocftv1997 SO incredibly nervous. I check my application on a daily basis. January’s going by way too slow!!
@Abwee67 mine comes up with three tabs updating my process: eligibility checks, application started, and application in review. I would get in touch with the admissions office.
Mine is like that as well!
@chukrook for financial aid? Have you submitted FAFSA or Css yet?
