***USC Class of 2021 Discussion/Results Thread***

Nothing in NJ and nothing updated in my portal…gonna assume this is an L

When are decisions on portals available? Sorry I can’t find a single result

Has anyone in FL received anything? I haven’t yet and I’m really bummed and holding out all hope for it being delayed until Monday or something but it’s not likely :frowning:

@brokeblester I live in Tempe, Arizona and received a package today! I believe some parts of Arizona are 2-Day and some are 3!

@younghollywood a few people have in the one day zones

WAS ANYONE IN NJ ACCEPTED? I’m balling that I didn’t get anything legit might take a knife to me

@sjl1826 @MrRobot5x5 I feel you! DD with high Stat and great ECs did not get a package today. I hope the juniors on this thread are paying attention.

dallas / fort worth texas
mail came, no box or letter from USC
we are in the 3-day zone so hopefully the portal will bring better news

Yeah, I wish I had looked at CC while I was a junior. It would have helped me be more realistic…

One more chug to close out my drinking - portal updates tonight after midnight for everyone, so the agony will be over. Some people’s mail may just be delayed and you could still get a box Monday (or tomorrow if your area has Sunday delivery), but you will know tonight.

Some of you will get a denial letter with the offer of the Trojan Transfer Plan. I will start a thread on that later today for anyone interested in understanding that.

Zip code 95134. Nothing in the box, yet others in my area got a rejection letter.

The other subjective questions are dumb. There’s no way to rank your own essays or the letters of recommendation.

I am between a 2 and 3-day zone. USPS map won’t show specifics, and I have not received anything yet. Guess it’s 12:30 am tonight.

also in the DFW area, I didn’t get anything.

hoping for good news, but not getting my hopes up. rejected at 6 schools and waitlisted at 4

@todaywastomorrow rejection letter already came? I live near the area. I heard rejection letter don’t come by priority mail though

just to let you guys know the map the one guy posted of USPS priority mail time zones is right however the zip he provided was wrong. USC’s zip is 90007, which would put my area in the 2 day zone which sounds about right

its surprising to me that Texas is the 2nd most represented state (according to USC stats) in this freshman class and they did not take the time to realize the USPS changed the entire middle of the country to 3-day expected delivery!

@sjl1826 @MrRobot5x5 same thing with me. 35 ACT, 4.0 UW, Valedictorian. Four years varsity sport and tons for club, Cancer research, hospital shadowing/volunteering. the only thing I can think of is that they didn’t want to give me $25k a year for NMSF. it was my top school. ive already heard about other students at my school who aren’t even close to me who got in and im sure there’ll be even more. i can’t have respect for this school with that. oh well, what can you do

To all spring admits out there: all of your questions about the process answered by spring admits currently at USC! http://thetab.com/us/usc/2017/03/25/answered-questions-spring-admission-4844

Did anyone get a rejection letter in a two-day zone? My daughter got nothing in the mail today, neither box nor letter. Don’t know whether it’s worth it to hold out hope…
