USC class of 2023 Applicants Thread

@fevorsandmirrors what did u apply for? For me I did history

How do you hear back from scholarships?

rejected

Looks like Iā€™ll be going to Loyola Marymountā€¦ will hopefully try to transfer to USC next year. Not gonna give up on my dream school that easily lol

Is anyone still waiting? I donā€™t have anything up on the portal yet

@justanotherstudent2023 the college of art/ architecture. I might switch to arts and sciences tho. I want major in art history. Thatā€™s dope though. See you there perhaps. Sorry about USC tho. I got rejected too ?

Daughter was rejected. It was her first choice, but she was accepted everywhere else she applied. Good luck to all who will attend. I guess thereā€™s always grad school.

Denied
3.8 UW GPA
1390 SAT
lots of APā€™s and honors, varsity captain, club president, lots of ECā€™s and good recs

Can you still transfer sophomore year even if you werenā€™t invited to TTP?

rejected

This is slightly off topic but does anyone know if thereā€™s already a good USC 2023 Facebook Group set up? I saw a couple on Facebook but they were both run by companies which seemed shady to me, so I was curious if any people admitted earlier this year had already started one or if any of the USC insiders knew lol.

My neice was rejected. Just saw it on the portal.

Rejected - SDSU here I come!

Rejected - 1570 sat 91 average, sad but not shocked, oh well.

From Texas, D got spring admission. Very happy.

I feel for all students and want to remind them that the ultimate goal of your formative schooling is a good and healthy life. Rejection may be the very genesis of that journey and acceptance the ultimate barrier. Please realize that all that matters now are the steps you will take going forward, whether accepted or not. Stay motivated!

My D accepted. 36 ACT, 3.98 UW, 4.38 W, for Art History. Didnā€™t submit art portfolio.
also got accepted to UCLA, UCSD, Pomona College. Waiting for ivies next week. Congratulations and good luck to all!

@CADREAMIN you canā€™t even begin to understand the stress of TTP! From the rejection, the two small paragraphs, no information until you are allowed to call the office in May, visiting the school (again), calculating what to do for the upcoming school year, studying during your first year so that you are able to meet the gpa requirements and hopefully not receive a sgr, completing the app again, submitting it with all the transcripts and now, for those who are TTP applicants, we are again waiting admission decisions. The big difference this time is that TTPā€™rs have no specific acceptance date just a vague range (end of March to May1).

But if USC is your dream school, TTPā€™rs will do it and hope for the best.

Good luck to you all! Congratulations to all that have been accepted! Fight On for those who still want to fulfill their dreams!

My S received white box today in San Diego. Amazing!!! He was literally shaking. So happy for him and his hard work. Good but not great stats. Very good essays. No sports. Pres of couple clubs. Design major. 1480 SAT, 4.19 Weighted GPA. Rejected at UCLA last night, Wait-listed at UCSD & UCSB. Accepted at UCSC, Cal-Poly, and UC Davis. Still waiting on UCI. Congrats to all and good luck going forward.

Hey everyone I know like 2 people that USC accidentally rejected. i donā€™t know how they found it it was an accident but some of you who were reject might have been by mistake!
