These coming after admit decisions is a definite change over the last several years. And no Deans were mentioned in acceptances this year either. Maybe they are gonna drop scholarship results and the known FA results all at once…interesting…and agonizing for those waiting! Good luck all.
I just joined CC after lurking for about a year now! My daughter interviewed for a Presidential scholarship in Roski, and we are so anxiously awaiting these results together. I thought I would join just to get that off my chest. It’s stressful alright.
@Ikbux64 @CADREAMIN I now finally figured out why only Thornton applicants could see an informed delivery package-It’s not the white box but a black package from Thornton with a red Thornton sweatshirt inside! I just double checked the package and the USPS tracking number is the same as the one in the informed delivery! All the white boxes are the same and not trackable.
@CADREAMIN If FA/Scholarship results come out same time, will that be via portal updates or letters in mail? And how soon typically after Admission results? Too bad USC couldn’t set a definite timeline for release of this info to minimize stress for anxiously awaiting students/parents.
USC FA/Scholarship decisions come out just a few days after decisions. Should be this week. Via portal first and then you get a letter. (At least this is how it was last year!)
Just FYI – some people can see the white box in informed delivery, even if not from Thorton. One arrived today that first showed up on Friday night and was the expected white box.
As for scholarship results, what are they thinking? Housing sign-ups start Wednesday. Surely, they plan to announce before then?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
I called Financial Aid office today; April 1 is the release date most likely.
Presidential email arrived, but portal still says FinAid is in review.

S19 just received email awarding him deans scholarship, did not receive scholarship notification in January, this is totally unexpected!
My son just got the Presidential…so proud of him! Fight On!
