Congrats @ykim525 very exciting.
Just remember - the interview counts! Prepare and be yourself. If USC is a top choice for you, make it count!
@ykim525 CONGRATS!! Let the excitement begin!! Good luck everyone! Remember that even if you don’t get a white box, you’re still in the running to be admitted in March.?
Agree with @hcmom65! Like I previously posted, the other student from my son’s school who was invited to interview for the Presidential ended up being offered the Dean’s so the interview definitely matters. Good luck!!
Can we post with details like:
Location
Scholarship
Major
Stats
Hi there! I’m from Whittier, SoCal and received my box around 3 pm today. This thread was really helpful for me leading up to today so I’d thought I’d share as a thanks. Fight On!!

To all those receiving the “white box” today thru Saturday… congrats!
For those still waiting… If you want to estimate your USPS Priority Mail zone for a potential “white box” delivery… go to this link and enter 90089 as the shipping zip code:
https://www.usps.com/priority-mail/map/
Keep in mind that this is just an estimate. USPS misses the delivery window up to 5% of the time unfortunately.
And to the 97% who also applied by Dec 1st, but who will not be so fortunate… do not give up faith. 86% of everyone who has ever attended USC got in during March… not January… including my two daughters. And there are so many factors being considered. It is not all stats. Keep in mind that 4K+ applicants with 4.0 unweighted GPAs and 99th percentile test scores on average each cycle do not even get in. They are also divided up by the various USC Schools. So… not being among the 3% means very little in the grand scheme of things.
The wait until late March of course is frustrating… but it is still well worth that wait.
Hello everyone! I went through this with my son last year and it was an exciting and agonizing process! I am logging in just to cheer everyone on and wish you luck! My son applied for dance and like other majors requiring audition, was not in this scholarship process, which we didn’t know last year. He auditioned again a few weeks ago…if anyone has question regarding dance and scholarship, message me and I’ll share what I know.
