<p>I need a lot of help answering this question in the application for USC. This is what I have so far...</p>

<p>"Waking up and seeing the smiles on peoples faces is what I want to look forward to everyday. I am interested in pursuing a career in the medical field because I have been attending the hospital for seventeen years and I feel like it is part of my home now. I plan to pursue my academic interest by taking rigorous courses to be able to pursue majoring in Biology."</p>

<p>Info why I want to major in Biology; I was born with a birth defect, it has affected my school life because I have been in a lot of surgeries which have kept me from going to school or joining any sports. I spent time in the hospital, and I want to become a doctor to give back and help others like I've been helped before. I also love biology :-)</p>

Personally I think your thoughts are good, just eloborate on it.
“Show” those experiences in the hospitals, and then connect it to your plan of majoring in biology, rather than just "tell. "
Everything you said in quotations, use that as an outline for your paragraphs. </p>
