USC engineering need help!!

Hi guys, Im planning to apply to USC and wanted to do engineering. However i heard from a student @ USC that you could apply as Undeclared or some other major and then transfer to the engineering program. Is this true, are there any preqs? pleasse respond asap. And is it easier to get into USC if i apply as undeclared then transfer engineering? or does it work the way some of the UCs work on engineering?

It's easy to get into Viterbi as long as you are admitted to USC itself. You have to get admissions into USC first, then your file goes to the Viterbi staff. As long as your math/science grades are decent, you can pretty much assume automatic acceptance to Viterbi as well. They are certainly not as selective in admissions as some other schools are, aka Cinema-TV.

You shouldn't waste your time doing it the way you suggest, cuz while it's easy to transfer there's plenty of paperwork to fill out and you have to get an advisor to sign off on it. Just apply directly.

whoa, I just realized this was my 1000th post on CC. yikes!
