I'm really stuck on the first engineering supplement. I know the scholarship application is due today but I've finished everything except for this.

Can someone explain to me what this question is asking for?

Engineering leaders do more than just solve technical problems. What kinds of experiences inside and outside of the classroom would you want to explore to enhance your studies?

Is it asking me what kinds of other than science and math related classes do I want to enroll in?

My counselor said to focus on the leadership part - how do I want to improve my leadership abilities. But I don't think that's it.

Any ideas? PLEASE?

Well you don’t have much time. I remember looking at USC for my son (he didn’t apply) and what impressed me was the variety of minors or other areas you could blend with the engineering major.

Go to this page:
[List of Minors | Undergraduate Education](http://undergrad.usc.edu/programs/minor/list.html)

See all those topics to on the left side. Click and read. Those are options on how to enhance your school experience: research, community involvement, study abroad, minors etc., start your own club

Pick one or two and expand why this interests you and just imagine how you could achieve them, don’t worry about being so literal, you may or may not do any of it but dream a little about it could go and show some enthusiam about the prospects.

Hope this helps.

They may also want to understand if you want to intern at a certain kind of company or if you want to join the robotics club to push your practical knowledge. If you want to emphasize leadership, you could focus on the role you hope to play in the world once you have more technical knowledge (technical leader, professor or technical manager).
