I've heard it's very good.

Viterbi is a highly respected school. It's ranked 6th for its graduate programs. But i plan to major in BME; don't know whether USC is good in that specific major.

I plan to major in BME as well....however, the USC BME program is NOT accredited by ABET, which is definitely a negative, but doesnt mean that the program sucks...All I know for sure is that it is not ranked in the top 20...

What are the consequences/difficulties i'll face if i major in BME at usc considering that it isn't accredited by ABET?

it can have consequences if your gonna wanna work as an engineer

The new US News Grad rankings just came out and USC fell to 7th!

yeah but its peer reviews (the most important part in my opinion) rose .3 points

how difficult is engineering at sc?? how hard is it to get a 3.0 gpa?

I wan't to know this too.

me 3. USC is my top engineering choice, over Purdue, Rose-Hulman, UVA, and Va Tech.

Just read the Dean's list of students at Viterbi on their website, which consists of 480 students making 3.5+. out of a total of 1900 engineering undergrads, thats roughply 25% of people making 3.5's or better. Gives you somewhat of an idea.

squirrel888, genius...thanks

any more opinions

bump, did anyone talk to students at today's admit day?? i was too lazy haha
