General Comments, scholarship chances, status info, going to USC…?:
i got berkeley regents and cmu for comp sci but outright rejected here…really confused

Rejected,

Probs due to my low stats 1860 SATs, 560 maths II (shocking!) 660 physics. but i had a strong extracurricular side. However i am using this as positive reinforcement to just push myself harder, after taking the sats in a decision that gave me a month to prepare i absolutely flunked. I am just wondering do transfer students submit sats score or is their academic side purely based on the grades they receive at uni? and what increases the likeliness of being admitted as a transfer student?

I also decided to send an email as a personal thank you to the admission office, i am sure that this will probably be ignored due to the busy time of year for them but i felt i needed to express my gratitude to them. anyways for now I will be a fellow dragon at Drexel Uni studying a physics major

Dear Kirk Brennan,

I am sure your inbox is packed with emails at this crucial time of admission selection, however I would like to personally thank you for allowing me the opportunity of applying to USC as well as reviewing my application fairly. I am not appealing for entry this year due to my annoyingly low stats however you will sure be getting a transfer application from me as I have an unfortunate inability to settle with the misfortunes life throws my way.

Thank you very much!
yours sincerely,
Douglas B
