USC Fee Waiver-- URGENT PLEASE HELP

Hi!

Sorry to scream at you in all caps but I'm in a bit of a crunch.

This is my second year with Questbridge (I was a college prep scholar and am a national college match finalist for RD)

I'm applying to USC RD and my application is due tomorrow because I'm applying to the Thornton School of Music.

My application is finished but I can't find the option for a Questbridge fee waiver anywhere on the application! I KNOW all QB finalists get fee waivers but where is the option? What do I do????

Thanks
Prestofaust

PS. I looked on the QB page for help and all they said was to list "other" in the payments section but there is NO common app payments section! & then I asked USC and they said to list "QB finalist" on the common app page but that doesn't exist! I'm freaking outtt! Please help!!

Under Common App:
Profile section: the very last subsection states Common App Fee Waiver, answer yes.
THEN under the Testing Education section there is a subsection CBO: Answer 1 organization and under Organization 1 answer:QuestBridge. You will most likely have to go a little further and answer: Counselor’s organization: QuestBridge, Counselor’s prefix:Mr., Counselor’s email:questions@questbridge.org, Counselor’s phone:+1.650-331-3280

This should help you. Good Luck!

Hi I tried this however the problem is that I can’t request a Common App Fee waiver for some reason in that section. Do you think it would be ok if I just filled out “Child of USC Employee” and then emailed admissions at USC about my problem just to get my application off (I really CANNOT afford $80 at the moment)? They’ll also be getting my Questbridge app when I forward it to them on Monday so they’ll know I’m a QB finalist. Or is this just a really bad idea…

btw thanks for your help!

Do everything EOW said and submit your application. Colleges don’t process your questbridge fee waiver until AFTER you’ve submitted your application. You shouldn’t get billed or charged. I suppose they have a list of finalists and take care of everything with that.

I don’t know if that helps you.

but the problem is that it won’t let me change my common app for some reason… & keeps redirecting me to a payment section… am I just going to get billed anyway??
