that includes everything(grants and loans), I just need all of the cost of college covered cause I have can not pay for anything up front, once again my EFC is 0, so I am praying that everything is covered:-x

University Grant $21,890.00
Additional Federal Unsubsidized Stafford Loan $2,000.00
Federal Perkins Loan $3,500.00
Federal Subsidized Stafford Loan $5,500.00
Federal Work-Study $3,000.00
Total $35,890.00

the additional $9,250 USC transfer merit scholarship

My parents EFC was less than $9k I think somewhere between 6-8.5K. On the cal grant website it says that USC is listed as my school receiving my information, but considering all the budget cuts and since I haven’t touched my cal grant since about 1.5 years ago(when i was attending another private school) i don’t know if they didn’t factor it in for that reason. But even then. $17K + $9k(assuming cal grant will be applied, doubt it) that’s $26K of $37/38K tuition covered. $10K+per year of tuition(not including other costs such as books, and possible inflation) is still out of budget, considering that the cal grant is most likely not going to happen and for $10K i might as well have chosen berkeley.

isn’t that basically a full ride zamela? considering that usc tuition yearly is roughly 44k.

my expected cost of attendance is 53,768 because i’m planning to live on campus

I personally don’t think a full ride is loans, zamela has to get about $11k in debt plus take out loans for the housing books etc if its not covered for her by her parents.

You mean for two years or one year?

IDK if your asking me but, im transferring in as a sophmore, I=im really only concerned with the aid for the 2009-2010 year right, next year is a different story, in all do you thik i will get enough financial aid to cover the whole year including loans and grant, cause im paying for college myself?

wow… you guys are complaining about having to pay 10k/ year for a school like USC? i have to pay the full amount if i want to attend…

allisonn plz pay for my tuition too, i’ll be your BFF kthx. :D

Me too… at least were not paying 4 years. it just blows my mind, how so many freshmen could afford to pay the full 4 years.

10k to go to USC is a good investment! I . . . kinda need to worry about my tuition first, grey

i agree that 200k for 4 years is just… too much. especially for undergrad. SIGHHHHH
