<p>Hello, I am an USC freshman admit, like many of you here. (Sorry to those who didn't get in [yet]. I got rejections elsewhere so I sympathize). </p>

<p>All the admits have gotten the USC Housing book, which recommends that you apply as soon as possible, and it states on their website you can apply for housing before submitting the enrollment commitment.</p>

<p>Does this mean that I don't have to be sure on wanting to attend USC before submitting the housing application?</p>

<p>Also, those of you that have friends, siblings, etc. at USC or have first-hand experience, are there any suggestions out there on what building/room type to apply for freshman year?</p>

<p>It only costs $30 and does NOT commit you to attend to sign up for housing. If there is a chance you might attend, it is a very good idea to risk the $30 and sign up as soon as possible. <p>did you get admission today Baka? And if so, what school did you apply to and where do you live.</p>

<p>Nope, got it sometime in February (procrastination for the win!), I think the first wave. But if you're still curious I applied to the Viterbi School of Engineering and I live in Arcadia, CA.</p>

<p>If I remember correctly (which may be doubtful), there is still one more wave of USC decisions to come out so don't fret, and good luck! :]</p>
