usc international transfer help

help. i already had an undergrad degree under my belt and i want to go to usc for a second one. i'm planning to apply as a trasfer fall 07. my gpa is 2.5/4 our grading system is different because its divided into .5 so 0,1,1.5,2,2.5,3,3.5,4.0 i think its a B. should i still apply or just forget about it? im an international student by the way.
ps im hoping to get in viterbi (env.eng) or env.stud.

no answers? oh well.

hmm that reminds me of the phillipine grading system.. where did you get ur first degree from? and what degree is it?

what country?
and don't expect a lot of financial aid when you do get in

You said your gpa is like a B? Well, if by our standards you are saying 3.0 then theres not much of a chance. But figure out somehow to convert your gpa into the normal 4.0 gpa scale.

iwanatransfer, you're from the philippines too?

our grading system is the inverse of what UP, UST etc has. ours range from 0 to 4. 0=fail, 1=passing 4=excellent. with increments of 0.5. so 0, 1, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0

i think the other one is from 1 to 5. 1 the highest and 5 is fail. with grades as follows 1, 1.25, 1.5, 1.75, 2, 2.25, 2.5, 2.75, 3, 5. 3=passing

even both grading systems here are having a hard time matching each other.

i got my first degree from the philippines.
