I am curious about the USC interviews which were held in Los Angeles around the country.

Just to kill a little time (or a lot of time) until the USC notifications begin to come out, could those of you post a brief summary of your interviews? What City? Who did you interview with? (Adissions Rep? Faculty? Alum?) What did you talk about? How did you think it went?

Unfortunately, my city wasn't included, and all of the on-campus slots fileld up really quickly.

I interviewed on campus with an admissions rep (probably a student because she was VERY young) named Lauren.

I think my interview went well. She had a lot to write down and we had a heart to heart towards the end. I know she could tell I was nervous though, USC is my number one OF ALL TIME, and I was just so freaked out to be on campus, pursuing actually GOING there.

OMG. It was so beautiful. If you’ve never been to campus, seriously, go. I already loved USC, but the campus made me fall in love with it again.

My S did his interview at USC in early December. He interviewed with an admissions officer, although not the rep for his area. He said it went on longer than he expected (45 minutes) but also seemed to go fast, too. He was understandably nervous (at one point, he fumbled when trying to list his AP classes … 10 of them, plus two college level math classes.) He’s visted the campus several times since his Dad is on the faculty of the math department.
