I'm sure you guys have seen this on the frontpage of usc.edu:

USC a regional school? Not according to WSJ. Great to see recruiters thinking highly of Marshall.

Originally USC wasn't considered a regional school but for some reason, last year, recruiter and alumni ratings of the school dropped precipitously. Marshall fired the director of the Career Resource Center (who's directly responsible for the "% employed at graduation" statistic) and hired a new one -- Peter Giulioni, a former partner at Deloitte who is absolutely brilliant if you ever get to speak with him. It's funny because, even given his tireless work, the Marshall Deans predicted that the ranking wouldn't show improvement for at least a few more years. Obviously, Giulioni's done an impressive job and those who matter have noticed.

would that be for undergrad or grad?

grad school ranking

Even as a grad school ranking, believe me, it boads well for you undergrads in Marshall big time. As someone who spends a lot of time in their facilities (public policy right next door) it is quite a place and obvious that it is a great college.

Well I guess it boads well for us, but we (undergrad - Marshall) are actually ranked #9 in the nation ;).
