USC Marshall School of Business chances?

Hi everyone:

Any suggestion on my chance of being admitted to USC Marshall School of Business with following grade:

GPA: 3.68

Major courses grade:

English 1: B
Economic (Macro): B
Economic (Micro): B
Accounting 1 (Financial): A
Accounting 2 (Managerial): A
Calculus: B

Any one have any suggestions or ideas, please feel free to response. Thank you.

You will need to complete more units unless you want your HS record taken into heavy consideration.

30 units or more total transferable.

i
m thinking about transferring to USC in the fall 06....i applied for fall 05, and almost made it; i was in the last group of applicants that decisions were made for. Now in college, i
m in a university scholars program, taking harder courses and continuing my extracurriculars and trying on new ones.

grades are average, nothing spectacular 3.3 gpa in hs....3.6 in college

chances?

The fact that USC doesn't request teachers rec is really bothering me. If they don't give us rec forms does that mean they don't want them at all or that it's optional?
Are you guys sending any rec forms?

Me too! Same question here, are we supposed to recs or not???

we want answers!!!

If you want answers, then you need to apply =P

Above a 3.6 and more than 30 units gives you a good chance imo.

the transfer rep from USC at my JC said if you have above a 3.6 and the requirements met you have a 90% chance of getting in, but she was trying to get people to apply

If that is true, that must mean that their financial aid for transfers is very poor.

i forgot to mention, i overheard a student with a 3.5 asking her specificly about the Marshall school, and she said it was like a 25% shot.

Currently if you dont have at least a 3.7 coming out of HS or the same with 30 + JC or College units you dont have a shot at USC business school. I went there and the selection process has grown much more intense in the last few years. GO Trojans!

I want to major in finance and accounting and have shorlisted babson college and USC Marshall. Any advice?

I’d say your chances are OK. I heard you need an A in Calculus to get into Marshall, and pretty much an A in all your pre-reqs.
