Both these schools seem to offer comparable business experinces. where would you wanna go and why?

yep, both of those schools offer comparable opportunities...but with respect to their general locations. it depends where you want to spend undergrad and settle. and both have very different undergrad experiences.

i was accepted to georgetown, nyu stern, and uchicago econ. i ended up at USC because i like so cal and i want to settle here. i also LOVE football, school spirit, greek life, LA nightlife, and FINE so cal women...these were things the that the other schools could not offer.

my situations kinda wierd. USC has everything id want in a college and i know id love the four years id spend there. However, when it comes to settling down and workin and speding my whole life, i would actually prefer other colder, rainier cities like Chicago, D.C., NYC, Seattle etc. Now i know that USC has a sizeable reputation on the west coast but how competitve would i be if i wanted a job elsewhere? then again if thats the case i can always shift base once im done with my MBA. I know that no other college would excite me as much or would offer me as great a college experience as USC would.i m confused.

im pretty sure georgetown and USC would give you about the same oppurtunities, i coulld be wrong. georgetown is ranked higher, but marshall is better than mcdonough. and some alums (not a lot) go on to work outside of so cal.

USC offers a pretty surreal UNDERGRAD experience, which i dont know if you can say the same about georgetown. again, i could be wrong.

but it seems like you answered your own questions:

"USC has everything id want in a college and i know id love the four years id spend there."

"I know that no other college would excite me as much or would offer me as great a college experience as USC would."

thats straight from you

The largest decision factor for me would be the fact that Georgetown is a Catholic school.

Do you consider that to be a plus or a minus?

The simple fact of the matter is that none of these other excellent schools can offer the phenomenal experience USC provides to each of its undergraduate and graduate students.

Once a Trojan, always a Trojan.

^ thats totally true. The undergrad experience here is like no other, the "trojan family" is really legit.

There is no doubt, Georgetown definitely has that "prestige-factor" in its name, but I agree with what many have said here: the USC undergraduate experience is unlike any other. All the kids here are amazing, and career-wise, you'll forever be a part of the Trojan Family.
