USC Master of Accounting

How hard is it to get in? does anyone know?

i just heard it is very hard, but not sure.

Well, it takes about a 3.7 GPA to get into Marshall and Leventhal as undergrads, so I would expect it's going to take at least that to get into Leventhal at the masters level (plus a good GMAT score). Can't say for sure, though.

it does not take a 3.7 to get into the MACC or MBT, a 3.0 will be the minimum with a 650 GMAT or higher and a 3.2 with 650 would put you in a "good chance" category.

If you pass all 4 parts of the CPA exam, you do not need to take the GMAT for USC.

Well. I just completed my application and I am looking forward for Cathy to offer me an interview. Hope I can get in.

I can really use some information about the time of admission and stats of admitted students. So could anyone share their experience with me

I don’t think there is much value in an MAcc program if you can already sit for the CPA exam.

This is what they have on their website for USC MAcc students:
Enrollment: 146
Average GPA: 3.45
Average GMAT: 650
Average age: 24

That’s hardly the 3.7 with a good GMAT described in post 3.

moss: I know you posted that last year, but I don’t think passing the CPA applies anymore to waive the GMAT correct?
