Does anyone know anything about the program where i can get my undergrad and graduate degree in business in 5 consecutive years rather than 4 for undergrad and then 2 for grad school? I have heard it is an accelerated program offered, but does anyone have any info on how you get into that? Any information would be great! Thanks!

It’s called the progressive degree program, but not all colleges nor majors at USC offer it. I scoured the catalog and could not find any reference to it under the degrees offered in the Business school. I really kind of doubt the offer it, because Marshall requires the GMAT test for admittance, and with most progressive degree programs taking the GRE is waived.

OK, I found the list of progressive degree programs and Business is NOT listed

general info for the progressive degree program is about half way down this page
[USC Catalogue: Graduate and Professional Education: Requirements for Graduation](http://www.usc.edu/dept/publications/cat2008/graduate/grad_req.html)

doesn’t mba usually require work experience?

It dramatically helps your chances, especially at the top programs but its not required.

hmm that’s strange that business isn’t listed, because my roommate’s sister is in the progressive program for business currently. i’ll just have to call the department i guess

are you sure its not for accounting? they have a 5 year program for accounting, not business

After searching through Marshall literature I was unable to find a five year program, except in accounting. Here is what Marshall wrote about the Progressive Accounting Degree.

Leventhal offers an honors program to strong undergraduate accounting students to pursue and complete a master degree: MAcc or MBT, while completing requirements for the bachelor’s degree. This is particularly beneficial for merit scholars with 32 AP or college credits as entering freshman.

This program allows students to complete more than 150 units required by most states to be qualified to sit for the CPA exam.

For the first 8 semesters students will receive the FA package, even though they are enrolled in graduate level courses.

This degree is for high achieving, articulate and mature students with demonstrated leadership skill, inside and outside the classrooom.
