<p>Any comments or drawbacks regarding getting my bachelors in Mechanical Engineering with Petroleum emphasis then getting a job in the O&G industry. Will this affect my career negatively if I go here instead of say TAMU? Am I fine as long as I get summer internships in the field? I am also applying to TAMU but because the last day of my spring semester is June 5th, it is likely that my spring courses wont be considered in my Fall 2014 application. Any advice will be appreciated.</p>
