Hi guys, I'm new here and I'm just wondering about something. I recently took the November SAT and got a 2260. My previous score was 2120 and the deadline for the USC Merit Scholarship application is December 1st. Would I need to rush my scores to send it to them or am I okay just sending them regularly? (Just got them today) Also, is it okay if I send them regularly to the UCs? Thanks.

You’re gonna have to rush them. And even if you do, there’s no guarantee they will receive them on time.

Do they only want official score reports? Some colleges let you send unnofficial score reports (screenshots, etc.) and will use those until the official ones arrive.

Definitely order a RUSH delivery score report for USC. The UCs consider the Dec SAT testing date as the last SAT sitting they will consider even though the filing period ends 11/30. So order regular delivery score reports to send to ONE UC Campus since IT WILL BE SHARED with all other UC campuses you apply to.

I have a similar question - but I’ve submitted my ACT results already. If I wanted to send my additional SAT scores (SAT 1 and SAT2s), do you think I should rush, normal order, or not at all? My SAT results are slightly lower than my ACT’s, but I have a high SAT2 physics score. Probably wouldn’t matter that much…

NVM, just going to send it. Already have my scores in so if it gets to them ok, if not, no harm.

“Administered through the Office of Admission, USC Merit Scholarships require students to apply for admission to the university by the December deadline. All students who submit the Common Application and USC Writing Supplement will be automatically considered for a scholarship.”

Scores can probably go in later, so long you have the application in.
