Ross pre-admit is a reach for anybody due to the low admission rate. UMich does not superscore, so the will consider your ACT as 32 which is the admission average last year. The OOS admission rate was 20% last year so UMich LSA would be a low reach for you.
? there is no way your GPA is that high with only 8 APs…
honors classes should not be weighted-colleges would likely downgrade that GPA
USC is as good of a dream school as any. Even if you’re overqualified, you might have a shot at being in the top 20% who receive a merit scholarship. Going to USC with even a half-tuition scholarship is one of the best choices of college available out there. Be careful with complacency though. You’re from a public school competing with 50% of applicants who are from prep schools with insane grade deflation and competition. 29% of accepted applicants have a perfect 4.0 UW. Your ACT score is only in the middle 50% of those accepted.
That said, your ECs will push you over the edge, I’m sure. It’s just that the rest of the posters here don’t really have a good picture of that. USC is definitely the most selective college on that list, including Mich Ross.

@theofrelord There is no standard for wGPA. I have seen a max of 7.0 for dual enrollment and 6.0 for AP grades. Anyway, most school would either use their way to calculate wGPA or look at uwGPA.
