@stanx89 I can’t remember the exact number of days, but it was fairly soon after (Within a week or less), and same with signing up for orientation. To sign up for orientation you have to create your USC email, etc., I think there are further instructions on the admission booklet they send with your admission packet.

Also are there any other SCA admits here? In their admission letter SCA said they’d send me an email to confirm my spot in the program but haven’t heard from them yet.

@scahopeful you’ll receive an email about the steps towards the fall such as creating your own USC net ID (not really creating it yourself. You put your your full name, last name, birthdate and then they’ll create it for you), making an orientation account, orientation checklist, etc. Btw, huge congrats.

@Spiffyb0i Thanks! Even though I’m a Spring admit? How long did it take for them to send you an email?

@fueledbyfilm I think I’m going to just major in Business Administration: International Relations and minor in Cinematic Arts just in case I can’t start a business straight out of college and I need to work for someone. I’m pretty sure I’ll still be able to take a similar classes as a major student. Anyway, I still plan on producing a feature before I graduate (I know, it sounds insane but whatever). We could work together in the future haha

@scahopeful . For me, it took 3 days for them to send it. Not completely sure whether or not it has any relation to business days because I deposited on May 20 (even though I got in May 1), which was a Tuesday and received the USC orientation email on May 23 which was a Friday. But you may get it late because I believe orientation for Spring admits is in the Winter.

I got mine this morning 50 grand ey! Only 2,500 after fed loans, good enough for me. Anyways got my acceptance on the 27th decision dated back to the 25th, recieved an email today.

@fdominguez Not trying to be intrusive (and please let me know if I am) but would you consider your financial status/economic class as ‘middle class’ or would you consider it as ‘comfortable/well-off’? Basically, do you think you should’ve gotten more based on your situation?

@scahopeful not intrusive at all, I am actually by the state considered low income, anyways my University Grant Total $50,000 so I thought it was good since its 64k, which puts me at 14 in loans per year. I don’t see that as too bad. What do you think? Is it low, should I appeal?

I have no stats to compare it also, I am waiting till june 3rd for any kind of merit scholarships.

@fdominguez I misunderstood you–I thought you were saying you only received $2500 in grants haha I think it’s a good amount considering that’s what I pay per year at my current school (w/o scholarships)
