You know where on the website they are listed?

It is on the second page of the site. The article is “Aiming for the Gold”. It lists the names of the current Olympians with links to other articles about USC and the Olympics. The article is dated July 16, 2012.

Can’t seem to find the current list, Georgia Girl. Would you mind posting the 2012 Olympians here. Can’t wait to watch the Games.

I found the article but it didn’t have a full list. There was just mention of a few of the students competing. I wish there was a full list with names, graduation year, and what events they are competing in so I could make a list of what events to watch :)

Well, I found this list which was compiled 7/2/12 and seems less complete, but it’s a start: http://alumnigroups.usc.edu/images/USCOlympians.pdf

Here’s the latest update. 39 USC athletes (current students + alums) plus 7 coaches will participate in the 2012 Olympics. http://www.president.usc.edu/files/2012/07/USC-Olympians-39-London-2012.pdf

Watching USA Men’s Water Polo right now. Just 3 minutes ago they just mentioned some guy being from USC, didn’t catch his name though. Very cool.

They also mentioned a guy being from Stanford just before that. I’m disappointed they didn’t argue which school was better though. :P

Missy Franklin (HS senior 17 year old swimmer at Olympics) has said USC is among her top 3 choices for college.

Goaltender of Women’s Water Polo goes to USC and will return there this Fall, announcer just said.

My mistake, TeamUSA women’s water polo has 3 players from USC. Flora Bolonyai who also goes to USC, plays goaltender for Hungary, who we are playing at this moment. Wow.

USC water polo women Olympians for 2012 are:

Tumua Anae Representing USA
Kami Craig Representing USA
Lauren Wenger Representing USA

Flora Bolonyai Repesenting Hungary
Anna Espar Representing Spain
Sofia Konoukh Representing Russia

The Viterbi School of Engineering reported that one of their students had been left off the list of SC Olympians. Joseph Veloce is a Ph.D. student in Electrical Engineering from Canada. His sport is called keirin, a cycling event. At least part of the keirin competition will be shown on August 7th.

Veloce has competed for Canada at the world championships.

With 124 gold metals and counting, USC has more gold metals than 94% of the countries competing in the 2012 Olympics.
