USC or LSU lafayette for petroleum?

Hi all, just wanted to know if University of southern california or LSu at lafayette would be the better college for masters in petroleum engineering.
thanks

Slight correction folks…it is University of louisiana at lafayette not LSU.

I cannot attest for California, but UL Lafayette’s program is great. I go to UL Lafayette and it is easy to see that the petroleum department is very well funded, and I’d be surprised if anyone graduated without a job offer. The Lafayette oil industry is huge and all of our engineering programs seem to funnel into it. I would talk to professors at both schools or visit them if you can though.
