Heyyy, guys. Soooooooooooooo i just transfered to USC this spring, im a theatre major. I like the school sooo far alot, but i dont love it yet, which bothers me, because i wanna love it, but somethings missing, ya know....

I applied to Yale as a transfer student, and of course i know theres a veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy slim chance ill get in, i mean i have good grades and everything, but ya never know how they exactly pick students?

My question is which school is better Yale or USC?????????????

Depends on what your definition of better is…

Anyways speaking of Yale, did you guys hear about that girl who kept getting pregnant then having miscarriages in the name of an art project… yea google her, I think her name is shavart or something.

I would pick Yale no matter what too, now only to get in…

oo and Laguna, I think its real, but all the drama that insued probably made top yale officials come to her and tell her that she better say its an act or else no diploma for you lol

I didn’t have any intention of USC or Yale, but I’d probably pick Yale over USC. I mean.. its YALE. That being said, USC is an awesome school so you can’t go wrong with either. :)

Well, having done a summer program at Yale I actually didn’t really like the campus or the area and with USC, a beautiful campus and you can’t beat the weather!

well the immediate area in USC isn’t bad, USC at least has the city with hundreds of opportunities DURING your schooling, while Yale will give you hundreds of opportunities AFTER schooling (thats just my assumption), and by the way, what is there to do in Connecticut. I maybe completely wrong though, a lot of great actors went to Ivy’s or partly Ivy’s and dropped out to pursue acting.

haha, well in the Gilmore Girls Yale was actually shot at USC.haha.
I do like it at USC, it just makes me wonder even if i got in, which i doubt i will bc they only except like 30. And i emailed one email counslor who wasnt very nice and like resaid “You know theres only a three percent chance”. which i know cause they only accept 30 .
And i wonder if it would be hard to transfer in to Yale, because they dont have a big transfer population like USC does.
Anywhoo, but for tution at Yale they have this new policy i read somewhere where if u parents make under a certain amt ur parents dont have to contribute much to your tution.

operagal9898-I would question the need to keep transferring. It seems as though you’re one of those people who is never happy where they are. Think about that…If that’s your pattern it may continue ad infinitum beyond the college arena.
