! USC 91%

Recent USC law graduates were sworn in to the state and federal bars during a recent ceremony in Los Angeles. Dean Rasmussen welcomed the new lawyers.

The Honorable Jean Rosenbluth '93, a U.S. magistrate for the Central District, administered the oath to the new attorneys for admission to the U.S. District Court for the Ninth Circuit. Sworn in to the state bar were over 100 graduates who were sworn in by the Honorable Sally Meloch '87, Los Angeles Superior Court judge.

Some graduates returned from positions as far away as New York for the ceremony.

Gould law students passed the July 11th CA bar exam at the highest rate of all California law schools.

Would you please provide a link to the CA bar pass rate.

It has not been posted on the bar site as of today. These were from the school’s sites as well as a notice from the Dean of the USC Gould School of Law to the faculty.

I called the USC Gould School of Law to confirm all this before posting. An article should be coming out soon from the LA Times.

It says here [STATISTICS PASS RATE JULY 2011 CALIFORNIA BAR EXAM](http://www.california-bar-exam-pass.com/statistics-pass-rate-july-2011-california-bar-exam.html) that the overall pass rate was 54.8% and the pass rate for CAL-ABA Law Schools (the group USC is in) was 76%. USC’s rate was 91%.

Another reason to be proud to be associated with USC!

I am really shocked that USC isn’t doing more advertising and marketing about this. This really shows the strength of the faculty and students - especially since the cal bar is known to be one of the hardest exams.

I am already impressed with USC, but these results have super-impressed me! Really amazing, and I agree that this would be something to announce! Maybe they are waiting for classes to resume tomorrow?
