USC Physics/CS Major vs CS Viterbi

I was recently admitted to USC to Dornsife Physics/CS, and am reconsidering for Viterbi CS. I’m mainly concerned that Physics/CS won’t appeal to big tech companies, and that pursuing two things would “water down” my degree and focus on computer science. Thoughts about each major and outcome in the workplace for each major? If you are in one of the majors, how do you feel about it?

PS. (If you happen to know), what different is the experience in Dornsife versus Viterbi? What have alumni in each major gone on to do?

Bump

You wouldn’t have a problem getting a job with a combined Physics/CS degree. I have a regular, old CS degree and if I had to do it again, I’d try to do something that was less pure CS and instead combine it with something else, such as computational linguistics, computational math, computational biology, etc. Physics/CS would fall into the same vein.
