I was on the USC website and clicked the "admissions" tab and in the corner top left corner where they have those little factoids about USC there were some SAT stats...

haha ya, of course they are out of 1600, but I was just wondering if they are up to date, cuz I if they were just old scores they would have to be from all the way back in 2005, right?

usc doesn't update it's site very often. you can tell by the deadlines. this one portion kept telling me the deadline was 12-10 when it was really 12-11. hahaha.

but um. the new scores are 1980-2180 for the middle 50th percentile. i think.

well they also said that there were 13 applications for every 1 spot in the freshman class, and assuming a yield rate of about 1/3 which seems pretty fair, yeah that's like a 23% acceptance rate. keeping in mind that we're in a demographic bubble of insanely high achieving students (you know, the toughest year yet, etc.) so it wouldn't be surprising to make the 2% decrease.

yeah usc received 4 thousand more applications than last year i think. and pmcharkins, i got a presidential scholarship with a 2080, so don't fret your SATs.
