Hello all...

I'm a high school junior looking to attend USC SCA (or other LA-area film school). I'm aware of the Film and TV production major being a talent-based major, but just how talent-based is it?

My grades are average (though above average intelligence, I am at fault for not giving 110% in my classes, which are all AP and Honors).

I have a few film festival wins/places and lots of experience in independent film/media production, as well as nearly having to teach my school's film/TV production program.

I do paid work for people/programs (e.g. police department, weddings, speakers, etc). I'm going to take an Adobe certification test soon.

So, just how talent-based is the admissions process? 'What are my chances?'

Thanks,
Matt
