Hi! I’ve just submitted my portfolio for USC’s school of cinematic arts and I was looking to meet fellow applicants and assuage some anxieties surrounding my submission.
- Does anyone know how heavily USC values technical skill? The camera quality for my video isn't great but I feel that the story is still there and I was wondering if this would hurt my chances of being admitted.
- If you applied, which writing sample prompt did you do and why? (I did the four minute visual description sans dialogue)
- How soon does USC begin sending acceptance letters?
Good luck to my fellow applicants! I’ve also linked my short film for any comments, critiques, or (rare) compliments.
