alamemom has told me I can still submit my application tomorrow (Dec 1) and still be considered for scholarship. Can anyone else confirm it? I just want to make sure because I plan to review it later and submit it tomorrow morning.

yes, you have until midnight on dec. 1

Admission sites have been known to crash a few hours before deadlines. If your application is complete send it in now, do not wait until 11:30 tonight.

Good luck…

The button is gone from the common app online… What happened? Did the deadline pass already?

luciDream, were you able to submit?

hi,
i submitted my application on december 1st around 5pm but i wasn’t presented with any box that said that i’d like to be considered for merit scholarships. will i automatically be considered since i met the dec 1 deadline or is this a problem?
thanks!

Does USC go by PST or EST when submitting the app?

chokolatte I’m wondering the same thing… I submitted all of my materials at 11:06 PM PST because I assumed they were using PST, so I really hope they are!

The time stamp on the Common App is always in Eastern Time, so that is how it will show. USC’s deadline has always been 11:59 Pacific Time, so I feel confident that will be the case this year as well. As long as your application was submitted by 2:59am Eastern Time, that will be an on-time application. Remember, this is the first year USC used the Common App, so they may not have anticipated all the questions that might come up.

I can’t link a confirmation to this yet because it doesn’t exist, so as applicants email or call to verify, please post the information to help others.

GOOD LUCK to all the 2012 applicants!!!

Yes, you will be automatically considered if app submitted on Dec. 1.
