USC scholarship interview

I'm going to the Explore USC program, and this question is for current students or student interviewers.

Would you recommend preparing for the interview in any way? I've already had alumni interviews with Harvard and Yale, so should I just be expecting the basic questions (why USC, what are your goals for the future, etc)?

Also, will the student and professor who will be interviewing me actually be from my academic area of interest? There are a lot of things I'd like to discuss with them if they are.

Any other tips or words of wisdom you have would help, too.

Thanks in advance for the reply!

(You can tell I'm new here by the thank you.)

i am a trustee scholar ... there are several things that i would recommend, but they are far too long to post on this forum ... so if you want, you can contact me via IM (via my profile on this site) or e-mail, fijan@usc.edu
