USC Scholarship Q (cross-posted)

I saw a post (that's a couple of years old) about a scholarship that USC offers for kids who are intending to major in two wildly divergent fields. Does anyone have any info on this? I know someone whose first choice is USC and would find this of great interest.

Many thanks!

It's the Renaissance Scholars program. You have to have a high gpa, a weird double major or major-minor combo, an essay and faculty recs. About 200 graduate every year with this distinction, of which 10 get a $10,000 going-away present. So it is not a scholarship but an honor, and for a few a prize, awarded at graduation.

Thanks -- my friend is looking at physical chemistry and musical performance (trombone). Quite a talented young woman!
