Hello everyone! I am a rising senior and will be applying to several of the top film programs in the country, with USC/SCA of course being at the top of the list. I am naturally extremely nervous about being accepted, and am looking at my chances of acceptance. I would like some input.

Stats

SAT: 1850 (CR 690, W 630, M 530) I'm retaking in October, hoping to increase to round 1950-2000
GPA unweighted: 3.97
GPA weighted: 4.68
SAT IIs: Math I (580), Math II (540), Literature (610).
Founder and president of a youth film society (2 years experience by graduation)
Producer, writer, and director of several film and commercial projects with entries into several film festivals this fall.
Journalism experience with film premieres, extra in a major motion picture.
Great letters of recommendation, including one from a School of Cinematic Arts alumna who earned her PhD in Critical Studies.

Obviously, my weakness is in math. Is this going to seriously hurt my application? Do you think having a letter of rec from a graduate will help me? The Trojan Family is extremely strong, so I think that weighs heavily in my favor; however, obviously the odds aren't in anyone's favor with SCA's 7% acceptance rate!

Thank you for reading! Please let me know if you would like more information.
