My son was accepted BA Drama today Long Islan, NY. We did not see it in informed delivery fyi. Break a leg to all.

Still in shock! My D was accepted BA Theater! My D had lost all hope when we did not receive a box today! Logged onto the portal this evening to find acceptance!

My S applied to Dornsife as 1st choice and SDA for BA Theater 2nd choice - he sent in a slideroom video supplement and received the SDA Open House email invite from the Dean on 3/20/19 which allowed him to register for event. We thought it may be a good indicator from previous years that he was in - when the postcards use to be mailed out a week prior to acceptance (although email did say it was sent to everyone that applied to SDA). Unfortunately not the case and he was rejected but was invited to apply for TTP so he is considering that as another option in this long process.

Does anyone know if you can change majors within SDA after you have already been accepted? I was planning to apply for the new musical theatre program, but I had a sudden family emergency and didn’t get my application in on time. They said they would use my MT audition tapes for the BA Acting program application, which I got in to. Does anyone know if they would allow me apply for a transfer into the MT program??
