<p>hey guys I got an SGR in april but by the end of spring i’ll have 29 units (i’ll be short of only 1!!! ) with a 3.8 GPA</p>
<p>do you think being 1 unit short of the minimum will really affect acceptance? because they obviously knew i wont have 30 units by the end of spring since i listed all the courses i’m taking in my application and they still gave me an SGR… i’m hoping for a spring admit at least</p>
<p>@MOOOSH i don’t think they will deny you b/c you are 1 credit short, but they will be looking at your hs record. did you do pretty good in hs?</p>
<p>OMG…I’m in the UC Quarter System. My Spring grades don’t come out until June 15th-ish…</p>
<p>Also, does anyone know if they give out SGR’s based on the Strength of your application or the number of units you completed or a bit of both?</p>
<p>i think i might have gotten an sgr cos i saw an update that they’re requesting for my transcripts under the admission doc section. but i havent received the actual sgr mail yet. so is that an sgr? </p>

<p>@Wolfparty my grades were A’s and B’s in high school but I did terrible on the SAT soooo kinda freaking out about that. Really hope that 1 unit won’t screw me over :/</p>
<p>I’m still waiting for the rest of my grades to come out. I’ve got 2 a’s so far and i’m waiting on 2 more grades. One of them will for sure be an A, the other could be a B or a C. I’m praying for the B!!</p>

<p>does anyone know how USC decides to admit you for fall or for spring? does it depend on how soon you turn in your spring grades or does that have nothing to do with it?</p>
<p>@MOOOSH well no one here has anyway of knowing for sure, but I think you have a high chance of getting in as long as your college grades show a strong upward trend and (regarding fall or spring admission) it depends on how much space they have left when they accept you.</p>
<p>I got my SGR in the mail on 4/23 then i sent them in around 2 weeks ago. Then i was admitted on friday</p>
<p>so my econ teacher finally filled out my grade form. my last one!! so today im going to fax all the grade reports to the admission office. i don’t think my official transcript will be done until the end of next week though ahhh. the wait is killing me!!
