USC Sophomore Transfer Question

I'm currently attending my freshmen year at a CCC (De Anza specifically).
I plan to apply to transfer to USC for my sophomore year.
I have a few questions though; the deadline for USC transfer applicants is February 1st.
De Anza goes on a quarter system so the only grades I would be able to send in is my fall quarter grades.

What else would USC base my decision on? Would they wait for me to attain my other grades (Winter and spring)? Would they use my High School grades / SAT? What if my De Anza GPA for fall quarter was above a 3.6+ but my HS GPA was only like a 3.1 with a 1800ish SAT, will my HS grades bring down my accomplishments in De Anza?

Thank you in advance
P.S. plan yo transfer as an Econ major!

I am in a similar situation. My school goes by quarter system, my winter grades will not be released until late March. But USC doesn’t release their decisions much later than that and we are supposed to send in our winter grades as soon as we get them, I think our winter grades will still be taken into consideration. And besides, they do SGR a lot. So I wouldn’t worry too much about the winter grades thing.
