Because that’s the default status message, apparently.

Interestingly, my login is the same as it has been using Safari on my MacBook. When I logged in using Firefox (as I assume most PC-users are doing) I got the “unavailable until 5 am” message mentioned earlier. Updates, we hope?

Uhh… mine still works. No “unavailable until 5 am” message. I’m on Firefox.

Undergraduate Application (Part II, Fall 2010)
Your application is being reviewed by the admission committee. We will mail notification of their decision by April 1. If for some reason you don’t receive our written notice, we will be happy to provide the results over the phone beginning April 11th.

It’s been directing me here: [USC Admission & Financial Aid](http://www.usc.edu/admission/down.html)

Oh sorry, I thought he said he had the other one

For everyone that received the “Your application has been forwarded for committee review.” Did you guys submit your mid-year grades already? If not then when did you guys submit?

I submitted mid-year grades and don’t have the new status. I submitted my app maybe like 1 or 2 days before Dec 1st

My daughter has had her status change to the “forwarded” one and her mid - year grades were sent in a couple of weeks ago - so that may well be a factor.

My S hasn’t submitted Mid Year Grades yet, but he got the committee review message tonight.

My semester hasn’t even ended yet (1 week)

Same here, but i have finals tomorrow.

So, is that it for those who don’t have “forwarded” status tonight? Like…is it pretty much set in stone now that we won’t be scholarship candidates? Should we pretty much give up hope now? :(:p

mine still says the same thing that it has said in a long time it hasnt changed…did ne one send there mid year grade my semester just ended today so i have to wait a week for the teachers to submit grades…did everyone finish filling out the FAFSA im waiting to do my taxes or shud i just do it now before doing my taxes?

Eiffel, no in the past many scholarship candidates did not receive the update as far as I know, and I’m not sure that they’re guaranteed scholarships either. I’m sure it has more to do with the fact that they’re getting ready to send out acceptances.

Perhaps its alphabetical?

Thats what I’m going to believe

^That’s what I hope too. What does your last name start with? Mine starts with an R.

And @ Lightja, thanks for giving me some hope!

Z :D

haha

Just to get an idea if the status updates mean anything, did you guys who received status updates today have really high SAT scores and GPA? If everyone who had their status updated has high stats then it’s very possible that the status update is a sign of acceptance.

Haha, then we should definitely keep hoping! USC is your first choice, right, Alex?
